Save the date to join us for the 47th edition of the European Lipoprotein Club September 9-12, 2024.
If you are interested in lipids, lipoproteins and lipid-associated diseases this meeting will be excellent for discussing your translational science and offer ideal networking opportunities with junior colleagues and senior researchers.

General meeting information
The 46th meeting was held at the Evangelische Akademie in Tutzing, Germany, September 11-14, 2023.
The concept of the meeting is a good mix of presentations by research investigators, postdocs and graduate students. Scientists and students residing in Europe or neighbouring countries, who are engaged in activities in line with the objectives of ELC, may apply to attend the scientific meeting to present their work. In order to participate in the meeting, your abstract needs to be accepted for presentation either orally or as poster. The abstracts are all selected according to their scientific merit, and it has become one of the traditions of the ELC meeting that many graduate students give presentations.
Invited speakers’ programme – world leading experts
The scientific programme of the 46th meeting will include 5-10 topics, selected by the Organising Committee based on submitted abstracts. These topics will be discussed at the meeting over four days. In addition we have invited internationally recognised scientists in the field.
The programme starts already on Monday afternoon with two sessions prior to the Keynote Lecture in the evening, September 11, 2023.
Networking – the key to progress in science…
This intense 4-day meeting will give you a great opportunity to learn and network in a beautiful, relaxed setting. The programme format will allow you to present your own work and learn from colleagues in the field, network and find new collaborators, have fun and make new acquaintances!
Abstract submission is closed, thank you for your contributions!
All abstracts are now under review and will be evaluated by the reviewers. Notifications on acceptance/rejection will be sent out by the end of May/early June 2023.
Registration
After careful consideration and evaluation of various factors, the organizing committee has determined that it is necessary to raise the registration fees for this year’s meeting. However, we want to assure you that every effort has been made to keep the fees as low as possible, while still maintaining the quality and standards of the event.
Accommodation is provided at the meeting venue and is included in the registration fee:
- € 600 for participants >35 years of age
- € 300 for participants ≤35 years of age
By registering you will become a member of the European Lipoprotein Club.
